I have an associate’s degree in office administration from John Brown University.
I attend Kettlebrook Church.
I was raised in a Christian home. Both my parents are believers and lived lives that reflected their love for Jesus. My mother taught Good News clubs, Vacation Bible School classes and Junior Worship. I grew up hearing about the greatness of God and His amazing love. I was about 8 years old before I understood I didn’t need to ask Jesus into my heart every time the Gospel was presented. My life has been one of the Lord teaching, stretching and growing my faith day by day. I am still learning, still being stretched and still growing in my faith.
I met my husband, Steve, just after my sophomore year of college. We married and two years later moved to South Carolina so Steve could attend seminary as we felt called to foreign missions. We served 20 years with United World Mission. We were in Romania for five years and fifteen years in Hungary.
In Hungary I served for almost ten years as an administrative assistant at the International Christian School of Budapest. I enjoyed my job and I enjoyed interacting with the students, families and staff there. I am so happy to be joining Ozaukee Christian School to continue in a role I so much enjoyed overseas. All that I have heard about OCS from families with students currently enrolled as well as from past alumni has made me feel very thankful for the opportunity to be part of this great community.
