I graduated from Lakeland College with a Bachelor of Arts (writing) degree and ESL teacher training certification. I spent the past year in China teaching ESL (English as a second language) to young children. That experience taught me to teach with love and understanding.
I attend Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church.
I came to accept Christ as my personal Savior at a young age when I was attending OCS. Biblical values were enforced in my home, church and school. When I grew old enough to understand why the adults in my life followed the Bible and what it meant to accept God’s saving grace, I wanted to make the same decision for myself.
I’m looking forward to getting to know the children in the program and helping them on their journey of emotional, social and education development. I hope to show them that learning and discovering are fun!
I love tinkering with old typewriters! I have a few at home. One is in nice condition, and I sometimes us it to type up the first draft of a story I’m working on.
