Why do you teach at OCS? I have the privilege of seeing students grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Watching them grow in God’s Word and applying it to their lives is what makes it such a blessing to teach at OCS! The family atmosphere is tremendous! I have seen struggling students grow academically; I have also seen God work the fruits of His spirit in students’ daily interactions. It is exciting to see what He does each year! I am committed to Christian education and believe that leaning on God’s Word for every class, every decision, and every action is worth more than anything the world has to offer.
I am looking forward to seeing students grow in reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary and spelling/writing skills. Ultimately, I want them to become children who choose reading as an enjoyable pastime rather than a chore.
