At OCS, students have the opportunity to participate and grow through a wide range of activities. From athletics to student leadership council, yearbook club, science fair and art festival, boys and girls learn to shape and mature the gifts given them by the Lord.
Students, and their parents, are well supported by loving teachers who go the extra mile. “The teachers & staff at OCS are always there for me. Whether I have a question or need prayer or just want to check on my child's academic performance, I can always count on a smile and a prompt reply.”
Parents have come to expect a positive peer influence for their children at OCS. “The OCS staff is like family to us. And there’s no place I’d rather have my kids during the day than with family and friends, and this is how it feels to be a part of OCS.”
Students also have the opportunity to participate in school fundraisers, which give them a chance to show the love of Christ in their communities by serving others. During our annual Serve Event, students visit assisted living homes and serve breakfast at a homeless shelter. Funds are raised because students ask friends and family members to sponsor them. “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for ME.” (Matthew 25:40) We want every moment during the day to count! We want every activity to point our students to Christ!
“…love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him.” (Deut. 30:20)
