Church: Gibbsville Reformed Church

Degree and College/University: Elementary education with early childhood minor from Lakeland College

Angela's Testimony: I grew up in a Christ-loving home. I attended church and Christian schooling for K-12. I have always known Jesus, but there have been times of great growth that have made Him so real to me. During different trials and difficult times in my life, I have learned that there is nobody greater than Christ to help me through them. He is my Solid Rock and Comforter! Now that I have a family of my own, I want to make sure that I am showing my children how real Christ is and how He is a part of everything. I’m so happy that I have a living and loving Savior to help me through this life!

What I am most looking forward to in 3rd/4th grade this year: I am looking forward to getting to know the students the most! I love to hear about their ideas, stories and adventures in learning. I can’t wait to build this class up to be a team that is ready to serve Jesus through all they do! We will be doing so many great and fun activities throughout the year alongside of our curriculum that I am hoping they will enjoy and that will be memorable to them. I hope that they leave this year knowing that they are loved, worthy and an important part of God’s plan!

Interesting fact or quirky hobby: I sometimes like to say that I used to have hobbies, and now I have kids! It is funny how being a mom changes your interests and priorities in life. However, I love to do arts and crafts… which leads to Pinterest of course! I actually was a beta tester for Pinterest! I was one of the first 100 to try it out. I found that beta test trial while I was on bedrest with my youngest. It was a fun way to fill up my time! If you snoop on my Pinterest board, you might find some of the fun activities I’m looking forward to doing with the third and fourth graders!
