Church: Life Church

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a kindergarten endorsement, as well as a minor in Bible and cross-cultural communications, from North Central University, Minneapolis, MN. I also have a Master’s of Education degree from Saint Mary’s University, Winona, MN. I am licensed to teach K – 6 in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Having been raised in a Christian home for the majority of my life, I am blessed to have experienced godly parents and biblical teaching through my church and family during my foundational years. My relationship with the Lord began at the age of nine. We attended a local church where I quickly learned Bible verses and stories about Jesus. It was where I learned to serve others through children’s ministry and teaching. Teaching is a true calling for me as I have been teaching since I was three years old: teddy bears, baby dolls and little sisters!

This is my first year teaching at Ozaukee Christian School. Prior to teaching at OCS, I provided professional development and consultation in curriculum mapping for OCS. Over the past twenty years I have taught in public, private, charter and parochial schools. Having attended a Christian school from 7 – 12th grade, I am most excited about the opportunities as a teacher to share God’s Word and the love of Jesus with my students. God has had His Hand on my life and I am so grateful to be able to teach fully; not only academically but spiritually, too!
