Enjoyment at Hidden Treasure: By nature I am a people person. I enjoy the everyday contact with customers along with communicating with people making donations. Being able not only to help people while they make tough decisions about their possessions, but also fill any needs that through the shop we can provide. The thought of providing financial support for Ozaukee Christian School and being an outreach as a Christian shop is a win-win situation for me. Not only can I support the school, I can also freely share encouraging words, hugs, and suggestions, using God as my focus. At Hidden Treasure it isn't always the words we speak but our actions that leave a bigger impact. I consider myself blessed to not only work in a Christian store, but be surrounded by like-minded volunteers and staff who have the same goals and serve the same Lord.

Interesting facts and quirky hobbies:
- I live in the house I was raised in, which is also the house that my great-grandparents owned. During the depression all my great-aunts and uncles lived in this same house to pool their resources and survive.
-My husband and I were foster parents from 2002-2014. During this time I welcomed 107 children into my home. To love on these little ones was very fulfilling and rewarding.
-I love Christmas! The greatest gift ever given is a wonderful reason to celebrate. I don't do extravagant gift giving but love having people over to sit by the lights of the Christmas trees and enjoy coffee or hot cocoa and home baked treats. When I say tree(s), I mean more than one full size tree but several. Each bedroom gets a tree along with kitchen, bathroom, family rooms, dining room, front room.....some get more than one. Don't judge! Instead, give me a call and come for coffee and see for yourself.
-I love to garden. Taking care of the landscape around my home and taking care of the flowers brings me great joy. I call it dirt therapy. Proverbs 16:24 Kind words are like honey - sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
